Travelling and getting to Virginia

Virginia Beach lodging. Staying Hotels, Guest houses and youth hostels.

Angie's Guest House

Angie's Guest House is a place I have stayed in many times, whilst lodging in Virginia beach. Angie's Gust house is literally 100 yards from Virginia Beach. For those of you familar with the beach side area, this guest house is situated on the corner of 24th and Pacific - directly opposite Harpoon Larry's Seafood Bar.

Angie's Guest House porchThe propierty Angie, is a bubbly and friendly local lady who is always welcoming and fun, hence the reason I always stay in this guest house. The guest house also has a communal kitchen area you are welcome to use, as well as a back garden with table tennis table and seating area. Contact Angies Guest House at: 302 24th St, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23451. Phone: +1 75742 84690

Virginia Beach Youth Hostel for backpackers lodging is also attached to Angie's Guest House. This youth hostel is clean, acceptably priced and well organised. It does get full quite often in the summer months thus you are advised to ensure that you book ahead of time. Phone: +1 75742 84690

Virginia Beach Timeshares - The Turtle Cay Resort

For those of you who are looking for a bit more luxury on your visit to Virginia Beach, the Turtle Cay Resort is another great place to lodge. Located on 600 Atlantic Avenue, Turtle Cay is a modest, oceanfront three-story timeshare complex designed in a traditional architectural style that recalls the Virginia Beach of days gone by. The timeshare property offers 94 fully-furnished suites including complete kitchens, modern bathrooms with large Jacuzzi tubs, and Timesharespacious living areas with fireplaces and private balconies. The resort also offers an open-air pavilion for your exclusive use including swimming pools, hut tubs and palm trees. The staff is friendly and helpful here, so it's a great place to stay if you are traveling with children or if you have never before stayed in Virginia Beach. If you are interested in reserving a suite here, I'd recommend renting through a timeshare owner rather than through the resort itself, because you can save hundreds of dollars.
