Beach Science Museum
Virginia
Aquarium & Marine Science Center (previously called the
Virginia Marine Science Museum), offers visitors over three
hundred exhibits, including 10 acres of marsh habitat, a nature
trail, sharks, sea turtles, harbour seals, otters, and stingrays.
In the summer time, there are also whale and dolphin watching
boat trips. The aquarium, which is located at The museum is
located at 717General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA
2345,1 is open 9am through to 5pm most days.
There is also an IMAXZ threatre in the museum,
and additionally, the museum organises educational tours for

Virginia
beach Boardwalk and waterfront
Virginia beach has a 2.5 mile beach, plenty of
shops, cafes, restaurants and a boardwalk. In
both summer and winter time, the locals enjoy jogging, cycling
and walking along the boardwalk, with many of the older people
also very fit looking, with many people living a healthy sea
air lifestyle. During certain times in the summer, there is
an Art Festival on the boardwalk with many stalls lining the
walkway.
The beach gets very crowded in the prime summer
months and the streets crowded. There is plenty to do though,
with the beach, live music, tourist facilities such as pitch
and putt (crazy golf), amusement arcades, souvenir shops,
bowling alley and cinema.

Oceanbreeze
Water Park, Virginia Beach
Ocean Breeze Water Park is only one and a half miles inland
from the main beach front and it is a great family place.
Try for example, the tidal wave pool; the Bahamma Mamma; largo
loop; Jungle Falls; Buccaneer Bay and Runaway bay for example.

and all parking is FREE, as are life vests. Note that you
cannot take food inside the park, but you can re-enter the
park with your pass. The park is not really very big,and generally
not that busy. It can be a useful escape from the beachfront
though, and should suit all members of the family.

Motor
World, Virginia Beach
Visitors to
Motor World, Virginia Beach, can enjoy the choice from
11 Go-karting tracks, an Adult Speed
Track, Splat Zone (which consists of two paintball fields),
the Skycoaster, Climbing Wall, Gravity Storm, Bumper Boats
and many other facilities. There are many things for children
to enjoy and many things for the adults. You can also all
together enjoy the crazy golf.
To get to Motor World driving from the Oceanfront:
Take 'Pacific Avenue South' towards 1st Street. Then go over
'Rudee Inlet Bridge' and then follow 'General Booth Boulevard'
for one mile. This will take you past the Virginia Beach Aquarium.
You should then see a gigantic 60-foot gorilla. Turn right
when you see the gorilla. The Motor World park is open seven
days a week; from 10am from April 1st through to September.
It opens until on Memorial Day to Labor Day. The park is also
open weekends all year round, provide the weather is okay.
